About Our Company

We exist for the sole purpose of providing help to the business owner. In order to accomplish our mission, we have assembled tools and resources, training programs, tutorials, web-based resource links and sources of no-cost help available throughout the United States.

1. Training programs and tutorials: The resource partners to this site have graciously downloaded training programs and tutorials for small business owners to utilize, without cost. These are "top list" learning tools, which are being delivered throughout the nation by consultants and trainers. By doing so, a national database of excellent training materials is created. We encourage you to use these and learn, and we hope that you will add your training materials to the site for businesses outside of your region to enjoy!
2. Locating Sources of no-cost help: All offices of the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) and the Senior Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) are listed on the site. Simply enter your city/state or zip code, and resources to help you are listed. Additionally we have asked those resource partners to add local resources to the site which they are working with, such as business incubators, economic development groups, angel and venture funding groups, university/college programs offering class/business joint ventures, and many more. With so many experienced professionals available to help you with all areas of your business, use this directory to contact them!
3. Web-based resource links: An easy to navigate list of business topics with helpful "links to learn", all researched and listed on the site. We add new links to the site on a daily basis, thanks to the participation of a national network of resource partners who inform us of valuable websites for the entrepreneur.
4. Locating Business Professionals in your area: We find it is often difficult to identify a business professional within your market without having a referral. Hunting through the yellow pages or google listings often tells you "who" is offering help, but does not identify clearly their area of "expertise". We begin this section of the site with the listing of Insurance Agents , because it is the most confounding group of professionals a small business owner needs to sort through..does this agent offer home and business? Does it offer boiler insurance?? Does it offer a cafeteria plan?? Our SOLUTION is the INSURANCE AGENCY LOCATOR. Our resource partners have asked agents within all markets to list "BY TYPE OF INSURANCE THEY CAN OFFER", so the small business owner can quickly identify a few agents to contact. Additionally, our INSURANCE TUTORIALS provide an excellent description of each type of insurance the small business owner may need. Use this feature now to locate agents in your market.
